Very sad Carry sold the place the raised all the prices and the food went down hill.
The food me and my girlfriend got tasted good. The service was lacking, the girl serving us could have been a little nicer.
The best rice and wonton. Sesame chicken delicious. Eat in is nice. Price_$$$ but worth it.
Great weekday lunch specials
The best wonton ever. The wrappers are ethereal and the broth is rich and flavorful. Generous portions.
Nice place. Clean restrooms. (big plus to me) My wife and daughter enjoyed their meals. My selection was prepared differently than I am used to. It was not bad, just different. (I ate it) We will be going back.
NOT that good go to Golden China in Yardley
Very good food, service and atmosphere...
Just had dinner there and learned that Cary sold the restaurant and Lucy retired. Not quite the same.... Cary where are you???...
I stopped in here today a picked the seafood tofu soup. It was bland and tasteless and too much egg . Call it Eggdrop with tofu&seafood. And then we have undercooked peas ( eww...smh) lots of tofu pieces a little bit fish , some other chewy scallop like meat , I was able to add my own spices ,which is why I gave them 3 stars for this particular batch of soup on this particular day, so this is not a review of any food today. I will try something on the dinner menu next time , I'm sure will be better.
I hate chinese food
Best Chinese food.
Chinatown Cafe has always been basic. I was aware that the ownership and management had changed over the last 6 months but thought I should give them a fair chance. Unfortunately, I found myself the only customer there on a Saturday night, when you would expect it to be busy. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, with me being greeted by a "Can I help you?" request, as opposed to asking me where I would like to sit in the empty restaurant. After this the service was efficient but the uncomfortable feeling remained. As for the food I had, it wasn't particularly good. It lacked flavour and wasn't even presented in a remotely appetising manner. This was my last visit. I won't be going back. Based on the experience I'm not sure how much longer this place will survive.
Won ton soup and dumplings are the best
Family owned, Good authentic food! My favorite place for Singapore Mai Fun...also great General Tsos chicken..prices are good too..btw closed on Mondays
The food here is top quality rarely found in Bucks County. Somethings such as wontons and fried rice are so different you will be amazed at the taste. We eat here oftten and my inlaws Sol & Sara Sauls come even more often. They love it here. They love the Roast Pork wonton noodle soup. They say nothing like this anywhere in tri state area. The service is supurb. The waitrses especially Lucy is outstanding. Owner Carey is always on hand and makes you very comfy. He is a great host..DAVID WEISSMAN AND UNCLE SOL.PS: You will love the food here, Carey will surely guarantee it.
Clean place with clean restrooms!
Excellent chef, reasonably priced, gourmet Chinese cooking. Thank you for coming to Langhorne!
LOVE, this place. We drive 25 minutes to eat here weekly because where we live in the Yardley-Newtown area, restaurants are not that great, the service is snobby, and we've given up on the local food scene. The owner is a GREAT guy - always there, always concerned if you like your food, and 100% willing to try special requests. His other family members/employees are 1st class also. My usuals are things like Hot/Sour soup, WonTon Soup, Lo Mein, Fried Rice. Also - Hunan Beef! The beef dishes here re so tender - I don't know how they do it so well. We go with our little girl and they even ask if they should change the tv channel for her entertainment - very thoughtful.Wish you guys success and it's a pleasure to come in there to eat-in or carry-out.
The best! Most authentic in the area!
Good Chinese food at reasonable prices. I've been going for many years. Try the hot and sour soup..it's as good or better than what you'd get in Philly.
Place is beyond terrific ! Best dumplings, best wanton soup, white meat chicken is delicious! Never had a bad bite.
I'm so sad 😓 Chinatown cafe was my favorite Chinese restaurant. I have been going here for 10 plus years. I ordered my favorite food today expecting it to good. I was welcomed to a very rude staff who are not nice to a customer treating them badly. After getting my takeout and home. I realized how bad the new owners are. The food was HORRIABlE I couldn't even eat it. It was that bad. There was nothing special to it and tasted bland. This place WILL FAIL and should be out of business very shortly because after realizing it's not the same Chinatown Cafe Zero people will go out of there way to eat this crap. I didn't even eat my food it went straight in the trash and so did my 25 bucks I wasted😓😔. It's sad but I'm NEVER going back and you shouldn't too. Thanks for the memories CaryRIP Chinatown Cafe
I had stopped in a week ago and had a delicious soup so I stopped by again yesterday for a take out lunch of pork and duck over rice with greens. Priced at $7.95 and it was horrible. 7 pieces of pork the size and thickness of a quarter, the same for the duck but the seven pieces of duck were half bone. On top of 3 cups of plain white rice with a bok choi type green roughly the size of one leaf of romaine lettuce. The egg roll had little filling and to top it off the fortune cookie was mushy. Never again!!!! I would give it no stars but thats not an option.
We go often. Our food is great all the time.
Always go there. Food is great
the food here is amazing best chinese food in bucks county
It's a shame been going here for 8 years. Cary was the best! He sold the place about 7 months ago. Unfortunately the new owners are not getting it. I have given them 3 tries since they bought the place. Every meal are all lacking flavor. The owner just doesn't get it. They will tell you it is the same cook but it is missing something. It is a shame the new owners don't understand customer service or just don't care. It's really too bad this little gem has gone downhill. Cary we miss you. Hopefully the new owners notice that all the reviews are stellar before they took over.
Fast service. Great food.
Always awesome eats. We don't normally go anywhere else for Chinese food at a restaurant.
We travel an extra 10 minutes to go here. Great food and the chicken actually tastes like chicken.
beijing duck!!love it!pork dumpling!
Worst service. New owners have been here for a few years and they just suck compared to the last ones. Don't eat here
Good food and a kind, attentive young woman was our waitress. The food was delicious - we had salty spicy shrimp & chicken and string beans. The sauce on on the chicken was distinct and wasn't your general Chinese food sauce that seems to get put on everything. Slightly more expensive than your average chinese take out but worth the cost.
